摘要: Aim This study aimed to characterize the genetic diversity, evolutionary level, and prevalence of genotypes common isolates Salmonella (Salmonella Enteritidis Typhimurium). Using one most advanced molecular recognition techniques, multilocus variable number tandem repeat analysis (MLVA), we characterized genotype S. Typhimurium. Materials Methods One hundred twenty-five internal organ samples were collected from major chicken slaughterhouses in Egypt, species isolated. PCR was utilized amplify IE-1 Flic-C genes identify Typhimurium DNA, respectively, isolates. MLVA applied on nine DNA three DNA. Six (VNTR) loci (Sal02, Sal04, Sal06, Sal10, Sal20, Sal23) amplified. Results Of examined (n=125), a total 12 (9.6%) either identified as or PCR-mediated amplification revealed that 75% (n=9) 25% (n=3) The six amplified through had allelic diversity. discriminatory heterogenic locus for Sal20. Sal04 Sal23 VNTR profile unique Conclusion first use strains isolated chickens Egypt. typing data reported herein allowed us are prevalent Egyptian chickens. Moreover, this epidemiological information provides valuable insight how prevent disease transmission. our methods provide an alternative traditional serotyping techniques may produce inaccurate strain identifications organisms with rough lipopolysaccharide structures.
