摘要: Abstract Fluorescence of the thiobarbituric acid reaction product periodate-cleaved sialic is readily detected by excitation at 550 nm and analysis emitted light 570 nm. A fluorometric microassay described which 500-fold more sensitive than usual spectrophotometric procedures detects 10 ng (32 pmol) acid.
