摘要: This paper presents the results of a survey carried out in 2010 aimed at evaluating type and quality groundwater resources Bangui region Central African Republic. work is first step towards development Republic order to find alternatives direct pumping from Ubangi River provide population suburbs with safer drinking water supply deep boreholes. By combining both geological hydrogeochemical approaches, it appears that geology favourable secure sustainable provided conditions exploitation would be constrained by local authorities. The Precambrian carbonate aquifers, known as Bimbo Fatima formations, are identified target view relatively good their chemical point view, semi-confined structure aquifers prevents mixing shallow already strongly affected domestic industrial pollution. main difficulty terms appreciate depth resource more or less fractured/palaeo-karstified porosity.
