摘要: A control layer of a data storage system is configured to identify one or more physical units in the storage, which are associated only with corresponding logical snapshot units, and reallocate such dedicated space. The space can be low-power space, includes disks designated as low power disks. reallocation carried out according an energy-aware migration policy, directed for minimizing activation disks, maintaining inactive state longer periods time.
