摘要: A device, and method for imaging an object that is situated within a fluid environment having suspended particles uses infrared illumination. In representative application, catheter (25) fiber optics (48) inserted into the vasculature of patient. The transmits light to optical head (46) at distal end catheter, which bloody be imaged. Light reflecting from collected, transmitted throughout optic camera (39), so image formed. Proper selection wavelength illumination allows objects imaged through what would otherwise opaque liquid. invention has particular utility in field medical imaging.
