摘要: With about 9.3 billion tons of reserve, lignite is a major source for energy production in Turkey. The Afsin-Elbistan basin, containing 47% the overall reserve Turkey, lies Afsin and Elbistan districts as part Kahramanmaras. new Collolar opencast mine this will be second mining activity basin after active Kislakoy mine. meet coal consumption B power plant. Input parameters slope stability analysis are essential, so they must determined accurately precisely. Field investigations, laboratory testing back analyses vital instruments input parameters. This study presents results via finite difference code limit equilibrium software soil slopes Elbistan-Collolar basic parameters, cohesion friction angle, were mechanics laboratory. By large scale failure, mobilized angles critical weak clay layer under seam by using 2D method 3D models. Results compared order to check effectiveness commonly used approaches handling problems. Differences more than 30%. models indicated that angle during failure was substantially lower generated method.
