摘要: Abstract The presence of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) in the syndrome haemolysis, elevated liver enzymes and low platelets (HELLP) is debated. We assessed occurrence decompensated compensated DIC (using predefined criteria) 15 consecutive nulliparous pregnant patients with gestational hypertension combined HELLP 12 controls pregnancy induced (PIH) but without syndrome. A combination routine assays revealed absence all studied patients. However, using more specific sensitive assays, was observed three control group. mean values antithrombin III, thrombin-antithrombin III complexes protein C group were 66 vs 87% (P = 0.0004), 21 8 ng/ml 0.0008) 57 90% 0.0018) respectively. conclude that show evidence which may have pathophysiological significance for organ damage.
