摘要: We examined prenatal and perinatal factors predicting cerebral palsy, using multivariate analysis to investigate which were most important the proportion of cases for they accounted. Maternal mental retardation, birth weight below 2001 g, fetal malformation among leading predictors. Breech presentation was also a predictor, but breech delivery not. A third children with palsy who had presentations major noncerebral malformation. Among 189 40 (21 percent) at least one three clinical markers suggestive asphyxia; only 17 these (9 percent all cases) lacked congenital or other intrinsic defects that might have contributed an unfavorable outcome. When principal risk present by time labor began considered, 5 population highest estimated seen 34 cases. during period beginning before pregnancy extending through nursery stay included, 37 Thus, inclusion information about events neonatal accounted slightly higher than when consideration limited characteristics identified began.
