摘要: A system and method for sending short voice-mail service (SVMS) messages through a wireless radio telecommunications network. An SVMS (270) message is brief packet data that sent channel in the SVMS-MSC receives an SVMS-gateway (250), stores them, then identifies intended recipient. When recipient determines their location, it transmits to them. The will typically be generated by one mobile station (201, 202, 203) capable of enhanced 270 communication (such as GPRS-enabled station). If determined incapable receiving messages, may attempt delivery alternate means.
