摘要: article This paper provides a comprehensive discussion of the market value variable renewable energy (VRE). The inherent variability wind speeds and solar radiation affects price that VRE generators receive on (market value). During windy sunny times additional electricity supply reduces prices. Because drop is larger with more installed capacity, falls higher penetration rate. study aims to develop better understanding how penetration, policies prices affect value. Quantitative evidence derived from review published studies, regression analysis data, calibrated model European EMMA. We find power fall 110% average 50-80% as increases zero 30% total consumption. For power, similarly low levels are reached already at 15% penetration. Hence, competitive large-scale deployment will be difficult accomplish than many anticipate.
