摘要: Survival of children with brain tumors has improved over the past 20 years due in part to advances surgery, radiation, and most recently chemotherapy. The long-term adverse effects radiation chemotherapy on these is subject this report. In Part I, we reviewed pathologic consequences including leukoencephalopathy, necrosis, myelopathy as well oncogenic both II addresses intellectual endocrine function. Risk factors for development endocrinopathies dysfunction include age at time volume dose site tumor, use adjuvant chemotherapy, particular methotrexate. Early recognition complications treatment, where indicated, will measurably improve quality-of-life treated tumors. national cancer groups are currently attempting limit by taking risk into account when formulating new treatment regimens.
