摘要: Abstract The study analyzes the long-term decarbonization of global energy system, i.e., decrease carbon emissions per unit primary energy. Decarbonization appears as a continuous and persistent trend throughout world, albeit occurring at very slow rates approximately 0.3% year. also discusses driving forces associated structural changes in systems such technological change. occurs level end use trends for final are shown. quest higher flexibility, convenience, cleanliness services demanded by consumers leads to that more pronounced those upstream sector. concludes with discussion implications scenarios energy-environment interactions suggesting its may still be insufficiently captured most models evolution system.
