摘要: The adsorption mechanism of dichlorvos onto coconut fibre biochar (CFB) was investigated by the batch technique. Coconut waste material synthesised at 600 °C for 4 h under oxygen-limited conditions. modified HCl acid to enhance specific surface area and porosity. characteristics were analysed scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) area, Fourier transform-infrared (FT-IR). results showed that BET specific 402.4 m2/g. Experimental data presented a good fit Langmuir isotherm pseudo-second-order model. illustrated monolayer occurred on CFB, with maximum capacity 90.9 mg/g. diffusion model confirmed liquid film rate-limiting step, major biochar. result after demonstrated pore-filling occupied 58.27%. chemical interactions, performed important roles in CFB. Chemical is comprised two which are hydrophobic H-bonding, but prime H-bonding. CFB very potential removal environmental pollutants.
