摘要: Undifferentiated spermatogonia eventually differentiate in the testis to produce haploid sperm. Within this cell population, there is a small number of spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs). SSCs are rare testis, and their cellular characteristics poorly understood. Establishment undifferentiated line would provide an indispensable tool for studying biological nature spermiogenesis/spermatogenesis vitro. However, have been few reports on long-term culture species other than rodents. Here, we report derivation vitro lines from immature adult bovine testes. Cell testes were maintained serum-free conditions presence glial-cell-line-derived neurotropic factor (GDNF) leukemia inhibitory (bLIF). These embryonic (ES)-like morphology, express pluripotent-stem-cell-specific germ-cell-specific markers at protein mRNA levels, contributed inner mass (ICM) embryos blastocyst stage. Meanwhile, established low-serum media 6-bromoindirubin-3'-oxime (BIO). resembling those previously reported male mouse germ as confirmed by botryoidally aggregated well expression pluripotent markers. findings could be useful development spermatogonia, which aid conservation improvement livestock production through genome editing technology.
