Phase Equilibrium in the System PbO‐TiO2–ZrO2

摘要: Phase equilibrium relations in the system PbO–TiO2–ZrO2 were studied by quenching range where PbO content is 50 mole % and more. Isotherms examined at 1100°, 1200°, 1300°C tie lines determined between liquid solid solution equilibrium. The incongruent melting point of PbZrO3 was 1570°C liquid, PbO-type solid, peritectic. Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 solutions containing more than 14 decomposed to ZrO2, decomposition temperature rises from 1340° with increasing content. PbTiO3–PbZrO3 should not be treated as a binary, but section ternary system.
