摘要: The aim was to correlate the gastrointestinal transit profile in rats, evaluated by a biomagnetic technique, response infection with different loads of Strongyloides venezuelensis. Eggs per gram, intestinal number worms and fecundity, also gastric emptying time, cecum arrival small time stool weight were determined. Assessments occurred at 0 (control), 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 21 days post (dpi) three infective (400, 2000, 10,000 L). Gastric faster (p=0.0001) significantly slower (p=0.001) during course. Also, linear mixed-effects models showed changes after parasite load over time. Cecum not influenced course or load. As indirect effect, decreased accompanied strong oviposition peak 9 dpi 400 L 2000 L. In several motor function instances, neuromuscular dysfunction persists mucosal inflammation has decreased. Our approach could be very helpful evaluate abnormalities vivo infection. Despite parasitological data progressively 15 dpi, worse according burden.
