摘要: When one thinks of exceptionality, ideas such as “above average” or “varying from standard and typical norms” come to mind. In the area behavioral teratology (the study effects prenatal exposure substances on developmental processes), usual focus is also how individuals deviate vary normative development. These are primarily pervasive adverse in nature. It important for readers realize that research described here entails not amenable transient, environmental, situational determinants development (e.g., examining educational settings promotion giftedness), who have been prenatally exposed harmful agents display enduring, atypical behaviors. Thus, exceptionality based premise do undergo normal, processes same fashion those were free teratogenic agents.
