摘要: The draglines of Nephila and Cyrtophora spiders have been studied by means X-ray diffraction method in wet drying conditions. Both are commonly found environs Taiwan. spider is the biggest orb web Taiwan one large which build 3D web. There two kind crystallites dragline. One highly orientated with c axis along silk direction. other more or less randomly distributed inside silk. Crystallite a hard material when mix soft protein molecules can form composite structure believed to be responded strength In this study, we find that peak profile random dragline become sharper indicated crystal quality ordering than dry same treatment has also employed pilipes but pattern smear out due its super-contraction property high scattering background from water. different behaviors crystalline water between these spider's maybe reflect strategy their utilizations nature.
