A fast and accurate scoreboard algorithm for estimating stationary backgrounds in an image sequence

摘要: This paper presents a stationary background estimation algorithm for color image sequences. The employs the running mode and average algorithms, which are two commonly used as core. A scoreboard is to keep pixel variations in sequence select between or each estimation. Our evaluation results show that by selecting, intelligently, core algorithms according values, proposed has excellent performance terms of accuracy speed.
