摘要: The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) is an important data set in global burned-area mapping. MODIS product has a coarse spatial resolution at approximately 500 m, which often introduces errors to the mapped burned areas. In this letter, novel subpixel mapping (SPM) approach was proposed produce maps fine similar Landsat imagery, by exploring spectral and information provided second fifth bands of MODIS. SPM aims refine estimate areas, have been detected product. performance assessed with experiment area containing six comparing MCD45. result shows that average omission error decreased from 52.26% for MCD45 16.74% SPM, commission 21.76% 12.54% SPM. kappa value increased 0.5583 0.8756 indicating effective reducing influence imagery refining existing products.
