摘要: Frequently, the inner magnetosphere between L = 2 and 6 receives a large influx of energy. In form numbers charged particles or as an increase in particle temperature, energy enters it weakens distorts magnetic field through diamagnetism drift motions particles. Since effect is to stretch lines earth outward, much surface balloon expands, process called ‘inflation’.
