摘要: There was a boom in the development of sustainable indicators (SDIs) after notion sustainability became popular through Bruntland Commission's report. Since then numerous efforts have been made worldwide constructing SDIs at global, national and local scales, but India not single city has registered any initiative for indicator . Motivated by this dearth studies added to prevailing risks million plus cities India, research is being undertaken Indira Gandhi Institute Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai, develop set study resource dynamics Mumbai. As first step process, ground prepared framework. A multi-view black box (MVBB) framework constructed eliminating system component from extended urban metabolism model (EUMM) introducing three-dimensional views economic efficiency (EE), social wellbeing (SW), ecological acceptability (EA). Domain-based classification adopted facilitate scientifically credible indicators. The important domain areas are identified applying MVBB framework, developed each domain.
