摘要: Abstract Nonsolvent induced phase inversion has been widely used to prepare micro-porous almost dense membranes. In this study, variations in the thermodynamic and kinetic properties of polyethersulfone (PES) casting solution caused by polyethylene glycol (PEG) polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) additives were investigated. The variation was realized enhance demixing rate solvent nonsolvent solution, while rheological opposite trend, delayed demixing. morphology final membranes affected trade-off between enhancement hindrance. effect hindrance on membrane tracked through two simple non-dimensional parameters. By changing concentration molecular weight (MW) polymeric additives, these parameters controlled, a wide range structures ranging from finger-like sponge-like voids prepared. Lowering resulted denser with structure, whereas at higher rates, large pores produced. Synthesized had cut-off (MWCO) 0.1 500 kDa, which demonstrates principal
