摘要: Abstract Rutile titania (TiO 2 ) is an efficient photocatalyst for oxidizing water to O . The photocatalytic activity of particulate rutile oxidation was significantly improved by H reduction at 700 °C, after calcination 1100 °C. due increase in crystalline size during calcination, and conduction band electron concentration the creation oxygen vacancies. In contrast consideration that vacancy increases recombination holes, hydrogenated TiO exhibited high apparent quantum efficiency evolution, 41% under irradiation 365 nm. It found treatment per unit surface area not only evolution but also acetic acid decomposition. effect obtained if particle previously calcined temperatures higher than 1000 °C. This suggests space charge layer large particles involved activation mechanism particles.
