摘要: The concept of informed choice for antenatal screening consists Western ideologies, encapsulating individualistic approaches, and may be valued differently by people from countries with more collectivist cultures. This study aimed to explore perceptions in women China, Hong Kong Pakistan. A Q-methodology was conducted during June 2016 February 2017, China (Shanghai Duyun), Pakistan (Lahore). total 299 rank ordered 41 statements. Following by-person factor analysis, five distinct viewpoints were identified: as a maternal responsibility entrusted doctors; shared decision led the mother; partner; delegated partner within religious discourse. findings highlight ethical dilemmas healthcare professionals facilitating where policy practice guidelines adapt predominantly approaches. Women’s preferences decision-making health and/or their partner, minimal emphasis on individual rights, suggest need clarification role supporting enhance women’s autonomy.
