摘要: The eukaryotic cell cycle is characterized by two major events, DNA replication (S phase) and mitosis (M phase). According to the current paradigm of as a cdc2 cycle, both these events are driven serine-threonine specific protein kinases encoded functional homologs fission yeast gene. To understand how function, it necessary identify their physiological substrates determine phosphorylation promotes progression. Definitive information about relevant early stages (G1 S phases) remains scarce, but several likely targets mitotic kinase have recently been identified. Current evidence indicates that may trigger entry cells into not only initiating important regulatory pathways also direct abundant structural proteins.
