摘要: Abstract This chapter provides a review of the literature in relation to laser-induced periodic surface structures (LIPSSs) found on metals, ceramics and polymers applicable within biomedical biotechnology sectors. The fundamental theory behind LIPSSs general is addressed first followed by state art generating metallic, polymeric materials as an overview. Thereafter, outline laser processing parameters required create such for aforementioned given, applications various grade materials. Moreover, current future trends are presented herein. A discussion new prospectives gap knowledge also research this area.
