摘要: Background: Cannabis withdrawal is not recognized in DSM-IV because of doubts about its clinical significance. Objectives: Assess the phenomenon cannabis and relationship to relapse nontreatment-seeking adults. Subjects: Convenience sample 469 adult smokers who had made a quit attempt while controlled environment. Methods: Subjects completed 176-item Marijuana Quit Questionnaire collecting information on sociodemographic characteristics, use history, their “most difficult” attempt. Results: 42.4% subjects experienced lifetime syndrome, whom 70.4% reported using response withdrawal. During index attempt, 95.5% ≥1 individual symptom (mean [SD] 9.5 [6.1], median 9.0); 43.1% ≥10. Number symptoms was significantly associated with greater frequency amount use, but occurred even those less than weekly. Symptoms were usually ≥ moderate intensity often prompted actions relieve them. Alcohol (41.5%) tobacco (48.2%) used more (33.3%) for this purpose. There little change during other legal or illegal substances. Conclusions: common syndrome among adults seeking treatment.
