摘要: Abstract The partial pyrolysis of poly(dimethyl siloxane) is reported. Pyrolysis completed in a two step process, inert nitrogen atmosphere followed by oxidative air. Treatment temperatures were from 300–400°C for the processing and 260–300°C treatment. This thermal required no solvents or bulky catalysts, whose transport into matrix diffusion controlled thus limit product uniformity. Therefore, high sample uniformity was achieved. Hybrid materials with reduced carbon hydrogen content an increased oxygen/silicon ratio resulted. These composites shown to be stronger than reported literature similar elemental compositions, but prepared such way as achieve only limited interphase interaction. At oxidation temperatures, microporosity developed materials.
