摘要: In the present study, influence of element type and formulation is investigated in finite analyses aluminium profiles subjected to axial crushing. It shown that solid element-based simulations give predictions better agreement with experiments both respect energy dissipation folding pattern, while plane stress shell elements markedly underestimate dissipation. further found thickness stretch dissipated energies those obtained elements.
