摘要: To evaluate whether histamine exerts a direct effect on coronary hemodynamics in humans, and to investigate the role played by H1and H2receptors this response, intracoronary saline solution or (4 μg) was administered 10 patients with normal arteries during diagnostic cardiac catheterization. Histamine injection repeated after intravenous Cimetidine (400 mg) diphenhydramine (10 mg). The electrocardiogram, arterial pressure thermodilution blood flow were continuously monitored for 40 seconds each injection. Immediately there significant increase (65 ± 6%) decrease vascular resistance ( − 3%) (both p Therefore, arteries, induces dilation of small regardless myocardial metabolic requirement, that is predominantly, but not completely, mediated H1receptors.
