摘要: Abstract Social eating initiatives are a mode of food provisioning and that have become increasingly popular in the UK. These organisations provide menu low-cost meals prepared using surpluses deliberately serve communally to improve social inclusion. Although these community grown rapidly popularity, research into their value from perspective participants is currently limited. This article presents data concurrent multi-method study conducted across multiple sites Nottingham Eating Network explain emergence novel configurations. The results show this form commensality, or group practice, not simply consequence reducing waste insecurity. Instead enacted through series intersecting practices, which include: restructuration shared mealtime; alimentary contribution; performances care. findings important insights values expressed emergent therefore useful for framing public policy.
