摘要: The present investigation was conducted on a laterite soil to study biomass partitioning and nutrient-uptake pattern in the aboveground parts of arecanut palm their relationships yield. Total production significantly greater high-yielding plants (43.6 kg palm−1) than low-yielding (30.8 palm−1). standing trunk accounted for 69–74% total palm. Dry-matter kernel only 4–10% biomass. uptake major nutrients varied between low- plants. Calcium (Ca) by other parts, while magnesium (Mg) accumulation similar leaf. micronutrients except leaf different indicated that combined effect nutrient had direct impact marketable yield arecanut.
