Influence of Flexible Poly(Trimethylene Sebacate) Segments on the Lamellar Twisting Behavior of Poly(Trimethylene Terephthalate) Ring-Banded Spherulites

摘要: Ring-banded spherulite is an important morphology of polymer crystals, and its formation mechanism still under debate. In this study, we synthesized poly(trimethylene terephthalate)-co-poly(trimethylene sebacate) copolyesters (PTT-co-PTS) by melting copolycondensation studied the influence PTS segments on crystallization ring-banded terephthalate) spherulites using a moderate etching technology. It found that he band spacing PTT-co-PTS decreased sharply with content. confirmed experiments there are twofold reasons for sharp decrease in spherulites.
