摘要: Abstract The aim of this paper is to assess succinctly the maximum heat transfer attributes straight optimal fins with quarter circle profile proposed by Isachenko et al. in terms three describable parameters. There are two thermal parameters: conductivity k and mean convection coefficient h ‾ , one geometric parameter: semi-thickness at base R being equal length . peculiarity fin its unitary slenderness ratio S (length ÷ ), which contrasts markedly all standard where L always much larger than thickness δ Through an intuitive approach, called a as capable transferring heat. In order verify premise qualitatively, detailed temperature distributions were obtained solving numerically governing two-dimensional conduction equation Cartesian coordinates Finite Element Analysis. This was done within spectrum representative values radius-based Biot number, Bi Additionally, comparison carried out between produced conceived longitudinal concave parabolic envisaged Schmidt decide profiles renders absolute or relative transfer.
