摘要: With increasing sizes of wind farms, the influence large scale farms on Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL) has become an area interest recently. While for a lone-standing turbine, power extraction equals to difference between upstream and downstream kinetic energy fluxes, turbine in farm must be entrained from faster moving flow above [4]. In that case, vertical transport by turbulence is same order magnitude as extracted turbines. Therefore, understanding interaction ABL becomes crucial, e.g., maximize energy, etc.
