Knowledge towards Zika among medical students, interns and general practitioners in Indonesia: A cross-sectional study in Aceh

摘要: Abstract Background The aim of this study was to assess the level knowledge towards Zika among medical students, interns and general practitioners (GPs) in Indonesia. Methods A cross-sectional conducted Aceh province Indonesia 2016. set validated questionnaire, consisting 24 questions, used knowledge. Logistic regression estimate differences between groups. Results total 1031 participants were included final analysis which most them student (39.7%), followed by GPs (37.7%) intern (22.6%). Approximately 17%, 19%, 64% had good knowledge, respectively. roughly equivalent. Medical students significantly lower odds having a compared GPs, OR: 0.12 (95%CI: 0.08–0.16) 0.13 0.09–0.20), Conclusion General have greater than or interns, possibly as result clinical experiences exposure learning. Inclusion learning materials national curriculum could improve ability health care workforce respond future outbreaks.
