摘要: Exposure to several specific pesticides has led an increase of Parkinson’s disease (PD) risk. However, it is difficult quantify the PD population risk related certain in regions where environmental exposure data are scarce. Furthermore, time trend prevalence and incidence embedded background relationship between pesticide exposures not been well characterized. It convincingly identified that a key associated significantly with increased paraquat (PQ). Here, we present novel, probabilistic population-based exposure-response approach contribution from PQ PD. We found largest contributions occurred its positive during 2004–2011, contributing nearly 21 24%, respectively, rates among age groups 70–79 ≥ 80 years Taiwan. also employed model predict PQ-induced based on projected age-specific population. The predicted outcome can be used as early warning signal for public health authorities. suggest mechanistic understanding trends crucial enhance our insights into perspective impacts neurodegenerative diseases.
