摘要: Demonstrating the importance of gut microbiota in human health and well-being represents a major transformational task both medical nutritional research. Owing to high-throughput -omics methodologies, complexity, evolution with age, individual nature microflora have been more thoroughly investigated. The balance between this complex community bacteria, food nutrients, intestinal genomic physiological milieu is increasingly recognized as contributor disease. This article discusses "gutome," that is, systems biology microbiome host-microbiome interactions. We examine novel ways which study gutome, nutrigenomics generally, can translational impacts 21st century practice biomedicine. describe clinical context experimental well data-driven process-driven approaches are being utilized underscore pivotal gutome common platform for sharing data emerging field integrated metagenomics pathophysiology. vision needs be articulated manner recognizes omics biotechnology nuances science effectively inform population public policy, vice versa.
