摘要: Coulomb excitation with Kr and Xe ions has excited the ground-state band of $^{238}\mathrm{U}$ up to ${22}^{+}$ (tentatively ${24}^{+}$) state lowest octupole vibrational ${19}^{\ensuremath{-}}$. No back-bending is observed. The behavior at high spins suggests a Coriolis-induced alignment rotational angular momenta.
