摘要: The Saudi Arabian Higher Education Sector (SAHES) faces many challenges which constrain its capability of adaptation to change, including success in appropriate development and implementation IS projects. At the same time, attention resources devoted by government this sector demand technology information systems provide high quality services all functions within university. This study investigates top management support as a critical factor SAHES, focusing on three specific (Student Tracking, HR Financial). It explores major role plays success, problems regarding implementation. A conceptual framework is developed combining with ‘Seven Ss’ model resolution SAHES. Data were collected through triangulation interviews questionnaires twenty-five senior middle managers five universities. data are analysed presented based using an interpretive approach employing Miles Huberman’s (1994) tactics. contributes theory, suggested be adopted SAHES overcome that area. concludes identification weaknesses strengths studied clarification overcoming support.
