摘要: This chapter is an overview of tools for translating microfacies data into depositional settings. Using case studies non-marine and marine carbonate rocks, we focus on the diagnostic criteria recognizing facies characteristics needed in basin analysis studies. Microfacies important element analysis, but must be applied along with all other field laboratory observations available reconstructing conditions.
