摘要: This paper examines evidence of the factors affecting adoption water markets within Australia’s largest irrigation district, Goulburn-Murray Irrigation District in Northern Victoria. The district is unique for purpose this analysis a number reasons: 1) irrigators are supplied by two main systems with very different supply reliability; 2) parts have high proportion land suffering from soil degradation and salinity low value production while other areas better soils higher production; 3) market restrictions been eased over time vary across district; 4) has experienced severe drought last six years; 5) there types those infrastructure pumping their own directly rivers slightly entitlements. uses trading entitlement registers to analyze behavior all farm businesses during first 13 years both entitlements allocations.
