摘要: Abstract Impact charging between fine particles and polymer film has been investigated both theoretically experimentally. A powder, fly-ash of 12 μ mass median diameter, was dispersed acceleratedin air flow, then the were impacted on a target whose frontal surface covered with rear side metal plate. The films used in range 25-250 thick. plate grounded electric currents caused by impact measured an electrometer. Two types detected, i.e. induction current conduction current. due to charge accumulating film, whereas dielectric breakdown arising from particle impact. Using small artificial holes, detected. This fact shows that insulating material can be utilized as effective chargingwall long accumulation is well suppressed.
