摘要: The present necessity to use heat-resistant materials in electronics justifies the scientific interest different heterocyclic polymers. This paper is especially concerned with preparation of novel polyimides having bisbenzimidazole moieties main chain and their applications as dielectric films. A soluble copolyimide was prepared by a two-step synthesis from aromatic dianhydrides diamines. diamine reduction corresponding dinitro compound. reacted various prepare series alternating benzimidazole–imide copolymers via poly(amic acid) precursors thermal or chemical imidization. Monomers polymers were characterized conventional methods physical properties such solution viscosity, solubility properties, stability behaviour studied. All obtained high yields inherent viscosities ηinh that ranged 0.60 0.98 dL g−1. Thin films copolymer tough flexible, tensile strengths 100 MPa. Glass transition temperatures observed between 275 328 °C. Thermogravimetric analyses indicated degradation poly(benzimidazole–imide) occurs around 530 °C, which ca. 80 °C higher than polyimide, confirming introduction component improved polyimide.
