摘要: In the course of studies in our laboratory on biochemistry glutamate and two its principal metabolites, glutathione glutamine, we have found that certain methionine derivatives are highly effective inhibitors utilization derivatives. These effects evidently explicable terms structural similarities between glutamate, methionine, their derivatives, consequent ability particular analogs to interact with active sites enzymes normally bind utilize or glutamine. It is interest a number act glutamine also exhibit relatively high affinity for apparently transported across cell membranes by similar - some instances perhaps identical systems.
