摘要: Hydrothermal synthesis of powders is a very attractive process to directly prepare submicrometerand nanometer-sized crystalline because reduced contamination and low temperature. The application microwave radiation during the enhances reaction kinetics by 1-2 orders magnitude. Nanosized Pr-doped zirconium oxide were prepared adding NaOH zirconyl chloride aqueous solution under microwave-hydrothermal conditions. properties produced are compared with those obtained conventional hydrothermal synthesis. Introduction Over years ZrO2 ceramics have been largely used their chemical physical properties. In order achieve such desirable properties, conditions must be well controlled obtain fine narrow particle size distribution enhance reactivity densification. Among various methods, crystallization [1] an interesting for direct preparation submicrometer nanometer sized at introduction microwaves increases kinetic magnitude [2, 3]. This characteristic results particular importance ceramic solid solutions. fact, high temperatures usually necessary synthesis, seriously limiting preparation, study use materials. Therefore, there growing interest in development non-conventional methods synthesize solutions temperature time.
