摘要: The global climate changes become an environmental problem in today’s modern world because of the change weather pattern. main cause is anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions carbon dioxide mainly from burning fossil fuels, deforestation and emission other GHGs. overall objective this study was to estimate stock potentials Tara Gedam forest as potential sink for mitigation. Forest plays important role cycle sinks terrestrial ecosystem. data collected field by measuring plants with a DBH >5cm stocks each plant were analyzed using allometric equations. From mean total 643.11 ton/ha, which 306.366 61.52 0.90 ton/ha 274.32 observed be above ground carbon, below litter soil organic respectively. highest found western aspect lowest northwest aspect. Altitudinal gradient, slope three factors that affect different pools concluded should conserved protected sustainable way further sinks.
