摘要: The hot rolling of as-cast 42CrMo ring blank and its subsequent quenching tempering were conducted based on the casting-rolling compound forming technique. effects feed rate temperature microstructure studied by optical microscopy scanning electron microscopy. mechanical properties rolled rings examined. results show that when idle roll increases, degree grain refinement becomes slightly smaller average size is approximately 44 μm through whole thickness ring. inhomogeneous near center-layer minimum spread region, which characterized a small amount irregular coarse grain. strength hardness hot-rolled are high, plasticity toughness relatively low. depth diameter dimples in fracture fabricated with low larger than those high rate. carbide particles cannot be observed after quenched tempered at 803 K, but fine dispersed precipitated 863 K. As result, significantly improved satisfy technical demands tempering. fractures both tensile impact specimens regular higher temperature, indicates dimple an excellent combination strength, obtained.
