Research on teachers’ needs when using e-textbooks in teaching

摘要: The major purposes of this study were to understand teachers’ definitions e-textbooks, identify needs when using e-textbooks and explore the relationships between attributes. To achieve these purposes, an open questionnaire was proposed experts obtain their requirements e-textbooks. A perception scale (NUEPS) then constructed based on teacher interview results, literature review results mentioned above. In formal study, 378 elementary secondary school teachers selected complete NUEPS, reliability validity checked. indicated that comprised three factors: (1) support teaching activities (STA); (2) reading presentation (SRP); (3) learning parental interaction (LAPI). Besides, findings showed Taiwanese perceptions positive in average. There no significant differences terms gender age, but there regarding level, application experience both STA SRP sub-dimensions. can be used offer a better understanding help novice e-textbook.
